Jo
Connell (Chair) |
Jo works with a
number of organisations both not-for-profit and commercial. Her
not-for-profit roles are Chairman of Help the Aged, Chairman of
TAEN, Chairman of The Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamsted, and Vice
Chairman of the University of Hertfordshire. Her commercial activities
include non-executive directorships of THUS Group plc, Cornwell
Management Consultants, and Polyfield Property Ltd. Until March
2003 she was Group Managing Director of Xansa plc, one of the UK's
leading companies in business consulting, information technology
and business process outsourcing.
She is also a Fellow of the British Computer
Society, a Companion of the Institute of Management, a Court Liveryman
of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and a Freeman
of the City of London.

Ros
Altmann |
Ros is an independent
policy adviser on investment, pensions and retirement policy. She
has an Economics Ph.D. from L.S.E., was a Kennedy Scholar at Harvard
and after an early academic career researching pensions, she worked
in the City managing pension funds, as Head of Equities at Chase
Manhattan, Director of Rothschild's and NatWest Investments. She
is also a non-executive director and governor of L.S.E.

Paul
Cann |
Paul has been Director
of Policy and International Affairs at Help the Aged since 2000,
with responsibility for research, policy and campaigning and international
strategy. He taught English Literature for five years before entering
the Civil Service.
He held a range of postings at
the Cabinet Office including working as Private Secretary and after
a spell in the private sector he joined the charity world, working
as Director of the British Dyslexia Association and subsequently
the National Autistic Society.

Keith
Faulkner CBE |
Keith is Managing
Director of Working Links, a public/private/voluntary sector joint
venture company that supports social and economic community development
through improved access to employment. He has been associated with
Working Links since its inception in 1999 and was, until recently,
a director of Manpower Plc where he built up his extensive experience
of HR, industrial relations and labour market issues.
He chairs the Skills and Employment Forum
of the London Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the London Skills
and Employment Board, Central London LSC and Public Services Strategy
Board of the CBI and is a trustee of Training for Life. He was Chairman
of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, chairing working
parties on employment issues for both the CBI and RSA (of which
he is a fellow) and sitting on two New Deal working groups (Lone
Parents and Retention).

Hilary
Wiseman |
Hilary is Managing
Director of Wiseman Consulting Limited and was, until her early
retirement in June 2005, Head of Diversity UK & Europe for HSBC
Bank plc, based at their global headquarters in London.
She is also a former Lieutenant
Commander in the Royal Naval Reserve. Hilary is a Chartered Fellow
of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has
an MSc in Human Resource Management. She is a JP.
